Your VetRep Review
We’ve had quite the busy week at VetRep, from parlor shows to WonderGrounds to concerts at Carnegie Hall, and we want to thank YOU for supporting us along the way!
On November 4th, Guitarist Michael Bard performed Bach, Granados, Tarrega, and original compositions. Guests included guitarist Benjamin Schnake, tenor Jesus Daniel Hernandez, and soprano Aurora Dainer. It was an incredible performance, and a portion of the ticket sales benefitted Veterans Repertory Theater. Thank you to all who attended, supported, or shared this performance!
Our third Savage WonderGround took place this week in Boston, MA at the Tavern Club. We spun poetry, music, and live painting into Edgar Allan Poe’s famous work, THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF USHER for an unforgettable re-telling, with pieces from Amy Sexauer, Dave Campisano, Ayman Kafel, Ben Fortier, and Dex.
This coming Friday at 8pm EST, join us for our November Write Loud, celebrating the Marine Corp’s 248th Birthday, featuring pieces from Combat Artist Elize McKelvey, Author Tripp Ainsworth, Musician Doc Oliver, and more. Follow VetRep on IG and be notified as soon as we go live!
VetRep is proud to present Michael Frayn’s “Chinamen” for our November and December Parlor shows. This legendary British farce has five characters and only two actors, and you won’t want to miss the final, hilarious performances of the season. We have enjoyed sold out shows all year, and while there are worse problems we could have, we want to encourage you to get your tickets to “Chinamen” before they disappear!
