Folks,

Our 2023 Staged Reading Season is official.

We’re thrilled to bring you a lineup of some great comedies, satires and farces this year - not to mention our first Death Before Dress Rehearsal veteran-authored 10-minute play reading festival!

In other news - I’m excited to say that, as much as I love directing, our first two plays will not be directed by me. Instead the prolific and talented Padraic Lillis will direct David Mamet’s Speed-the-Plow to kick off our season. Pray for him. He’ll be working with a pain-in-the-ass leading man…me. That’s right, I’ll be taking the stage for the first time in about two decades. Nothing to see there, folks. Then our good friend (and now Cornwall local), the wildly talented Jenn Haltman will direct Joshua Harmon’s biting comedy Bad Jews. We’re incredibly grateful and excited to bring such accomplished directors to play with us at the Parlor this year. Check out our full season below. Remember - free beverages, free desserts, pay-what-you-can tickets - and only 16 seats. Not mention some great shows, great talent, both onstage and off. We can’t wait to spend our Saturday nights laughing with you at the Parlor!

- Chris
