We’ve just wrapped the final performance of 2022 with yesterday’s reading of Good Evening and what a year it’s been. Each season at The Parlor is a chance for us to connect with our Hudson Valley community while featuring the outstanding actors, plays, and community partners. While we’d love to give you a taste of the coming season, we want to give thank you’s to everyone who’s been part of these incredible performances first.
For our knockout desserts at each parlor event, we want to thank Jones Farm, Jennifer Guiffre, Maureen Spaulding, and Sylvia Pisco. Instagram worthy and tastebud approved every night, we had a great array of cookies, pies, and other treats all season long. As the perfect dessert companion, Cornwall Coffee provided us with their coffee and cider!
Volunteers throughout the season we need to shout out, it wouldn’t have happened without you! Gary Mintz, Bill and Kristen Elkins, Cati Pishel, Rish Gaillard, Jacki Gaillard, Mike Regan, Seth Tell, Michael DeCelestino, and Lexy Velarde.
And of course, a HUGE thank you goes out to our landlord, Eileen Regan. The building itself lends a big part of the character to each of our live events at The Parlor.
Our favorite standout moment from this season? Definitely the live sound effects and custom foley box for 39 Steps, created and manned by Gary Mintz, who also happens to be on our Board of Advisors. Small wonder why we would choose him to advise us, and we can’t wait to bring more unique ideas to your 2023 season at The Parlor!
We may have wrapped live performances, but you can still catch one more VetRep event this year before the holidays. Join us on Instagram for a Write Loud, Dec 22th 8pm EST. We’ll be featuring new and familiar voices for an evening of spoken word you can stream from anywhere you are. Make sure you’re following the VetRep IG page so you don’t miss out!
Catch our latest Friday Feature on the VetRep social media pages as well, where we did a mini interview with Rockeater author, Mason Rodrigue.
