Your VetRep Review
As we close our first parlor season of 2024, we’d like to thank everyone who attended a show, shared with friends, and supported us through each performance! We’d also like to thank all our donors whose generosity through the last 7 months made each production possible.
If you can’t wait to get back in the parlor with us, go ahead and reserve your seats for September, for Chris Soucy’s “The Absurdity of it All”. Chris Soucy is a VetRep resident artist and Army Veteran. He is a co-founder of Odd Lot Improv and the Savannah Shakes Theater Company, and has worked as an actor, puppeteer, writer, director, and filmmaker, with over 30 years of experience in the theater industry.
This month marked the beginning of a new playwriting competition, with opportunities to win grants for both 10-minute and full length play submissions. Submissions for this competition close on July 3rd, 2025 and you can find more information about submission guidelines here.
During Upstate Arts Weekend, and Beacon Open Studios, VetRep participated by opening the doors to both our Cornwall and Beacon locations and showcasing local and veteran artists with galleries, dance, and live painting. Check out some of the highlights from our weekend on our Instagram Page!
VetRep is a registered 501c3 and operates on donations from supporters like you. If you’ve enjoyed a VetRep production, or been introduced to an artist you love through us, consider donating so we can continue to platform world class writers, artists, musicians, dancers, and playwrights.
