With conscious effort I do not have to tell:
My eyes to blink
My lungs to breathe
My heart to beat
Staring down at my hand
I see an intertwined web work of art
The complexity of the most basic components of our bodies,
Difficult to fully fathom with appreciation
With the depth of a universe in our minds and fully functioning body,
How can we honestly expect any simplicity with life interacting with everyone full of their own galaxy

Mike Reynolds is an active duty Marine and Marine Corps Combat Artist. Following the attacks of September 11th, 2001, he left college and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, later transitioning to become a Warrant Officer. Mike's passion for creating artwork stems from the idea that art should tell a story, and the stories of the GWOT demand to be told. You can listen to our latest podcast with him here.
