I found you, and realized
If the whole world collapsed…
If oceans boiled, and stars
Once admired, streaked across
The sky, signaling our demise.
If riots raged in cities,
Burning the forest of civilization
To little more than piles of dust,
Rust, and decay, as humanity
Stood in despair and dismay
I’d still have a smile on my face
Because I’ve seen cities collapse,
life end in seconds, I’ve seen charred corpses smoke
mix against skies of the most brilliant blue
And I can’t feel any of that pain
Whenever I’m surrounded, by you.

What’s happening at VetRep…
Listen to our interview this week with Mike Schropp on the Savage Wonder Podcast.
VetRep is thrilled to present “God of Carnage” by Yazmina Reza for the month of September. A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters.
