There is no tomorrow
There is only today
Whatever life is borrowed
The hands of time still have to pay
Through my many labors
I had to fight to find
In the darkest corners
Of this fragile mind
It was in that pain
I found all my gifts
Like a strength from the gods
No stone I cannot lift
The path is always lonely
The road is never straight and narrow
Embrace your deepest fears
They hide deeper than bone marrow
Even the most exciting days pass
Like the shadows from a burning candle
While each moment you sleep
Creeps into the dark like the vandal
Memento Mori
Never forget you too will die
Every breath is a gift
Don’t let this life pass you by
Through our struggle is where we grow
Only those that live through it truly know
At the end of the rope there is only sorrow
Our only hope lies in “ there is no tomorrow “
