Timing is a word I used to hold with more bitter disdain
A multitude of why me why always me
Trying to fight the universe’s plan of what’s truly best,
Because in my infinite wisdom I “know” what’s best
But as I sit back and reflect on fond many memories with sweet souls
I wouldn’t want to change a thing
I know there are many I’ll never see again
No words to ever exchange on this earth
Yet I hold hope that when they hear my name
They too can’t help to just smile in the moment in the same way I do
