The sound of his drums reverberated across the land, his beat a haunting melody that spoke of a deep sense of loss.
As the young soul stood there, numb and detached, he gazed out at the desolate landscape before him.
A foreign land, one that had taken everything from him and left him with nothing but his empty stares.
The weight of the experience hung heavy in the air, it was clear that nothing would ever be the same again.
