What can I do with this pain? What can I do with the change?
I know I’m living on the edge; it’s where I choose to remain. I remain because I can feel the pain. Acute sensations provide a benchmark. The more I feel, the more my condition improves.
Strange is it not?
I know I’m alive — I don’t need the pain for that. Sharpness brings presence…awareness. The opposite of numbness is feeling. The edge is not the same as the extreme. I love on the edge to feel fully, to feel everything.
Joy and pain
wax
and wane.
I live on the edge,
the edge is where I choose to remain.
