The crickets are chirping
as elder frogs croak
and I’m beginning to feel like
more than a hollow ghost

I know that, I’m not
what I might’ve been
but I’m beginning to feel
like a human, again

and though this life isn’t all
that we’d dreamed it would be,
I found peace, so I’m happy
as, any human, can be.
