I’d supreme a citrus
so you don’t have to fuss
with all its skin
Slip clean sweet sour slices
through your tender lips
before you mash it
the way I mashed it
with a dull knife
until I was covered to my elbows
in sweet sour liquid
stinging cuts I didn’t know
were hiding in every crease of my
sticky skin
