Folks,
Not sure if you heard about NY Gov. Hochul’s mask mandate. I won’t bore you with a lot of commentary. Instead, I’ll look at it through the very narrow aperture of VetRep’s own interests.
Certainly this mandate relieves us of any second-guessing we did of ourselves. And I’m glad we had already cancelled our last two shows. I’m also glad we had already planned to be closed to the public from January through March since this mandate does not bode well for businesses such as ours. And it just underscores how much we’re looking forward to April - and how glad I am that we have a few lines of effort that don’t require in-person attendance.
So on that note, let me present a quick rundown of the last few episodes of Savage Wonder because if you haven’t heard them, you’ve really missed out.
Former female Marine MP-turned-poet, Dex.
Former Navy SEAL-turned-actor, David B. Meadows.
Former school shooting survivor-turned-Army Ranger-turned novelist, Luke Ryan.
Former Navy Corpsman combat veteran-turned-country music singer, Doc Oliver.
Former Marine machine-gunner-turned-professional poet, Mason Rodrigue.
Former Army combat veteran-turned-professional, award-winning photographer, Nicholas Luchenbill.
If long-form interviews aren’t your thing, stay tuned. At some point in 2022, we want to add audio plays to the Savage Wonder platform, which I’m sure will add a lot of variety to our programming.
We miss you all and can’t wait to see you in person. But until then, hope you all enjoy what we’re doing online. Let us know - 5-star reviews on iTunes are really helpful - and we’ll keep doing our best to keep you entertained during the winter.
Thanks for being part of the VetRep family. A lot more to follow…
Chris
