Where you meet someone you should date

This must be fate
A girl who loves what you love
Knows things you know
And laughs at all your jokes
For the drinks and the smokes
The kisses and the music
You dance entwined in true happiness,
And love you’re sure never passes
Sheets tangle all night, then you hold her
Through sun rise
Whispering how “this was the best night”
Kiss in the parking lot,
Leave your number in her hand,
Oh so clever
Little did you know
It was goodbye forever.
