It seems the Sexual Revolution
Was lost through reverse evolution.
Prudes tell you getting naked isn’t right.
Greeks, Romans – wrestled naked. Was that rude?
Or crude? No. It was sport in olden days.
Getting naked together helps love last.
Buck naked hand holding stark naked hand.
Lips kissing naked lips can’t be faked.
There’s nothing rhymes with woman, or naked.
DiLauro is an Air Force veteran who served throughout the Pacific and Asia during the Vietnam war. Upon his discharge he wrote a pro peace play that was produced at McCarter Theater in Princeton, NJ. Several of his plays have been produced in Manhattan since, and he adapted one for a GM Mark of Excellence TV production. His sonnets and light verse have appeared in the NY Times and Philadelphia Inquirer, as well as in small press magazines. Stephen DiLauro’s River Tales radio storytelling series was heard on some 200 public radio stations from 1995 – 2001. He is currently honored to be working on projects with some amazing filmmakers. He lives in Greenwich Village and spends as much time as possible in Ireland andItaly.
