I began to notice how hard it was becoming to finish the last few sips of my whiskey.

Ryan the bartender asked me if I wanted another drink. Better make it a double I told him.
As I made my way over to her table she began to grin. I immediately recognized this look, it’s how predators look at a wounded animal, easy prey.
I shook her hand and sat down next to her, I laughed to myself. My how the tables have been turned on me.
So be it, everyone has to eat.
