Warheads on foreheads and mortar suppression, Linked 7.62 and belt fed aggression, Hazing the new boots that came in the spring- These are a few of my favorite things Getting in fights with the bouncers at Platinum’s, Field day inspections without the Captain, the only hot stripper at Tobie’s in a bright red g-string- These are a few of my favorite things Brand new M18s and heavy machine guns, Nice and slow paces on morning PT runs, When Cheeto rounds cycle in the Mark Nineteens- These are a few of my favorite things First round impacts when I call for Arty, Jumping through tables at barracks parties, Brawls every weekend between 2/2 and Charlie, Blasting music so loud that it makes my ears ring, These are a few of my favorite things Pit love at the range to cover the misses, The two week leave block we get for Christmas Cookouts at the bricks and ninety sixes, Play “Dinosaur” by Hank and everyone sings- These are a few of my favorite things When the shit sucks, and you get fucked, and you’re feeling sad, Have a beer and call your boys about your favorite things and then you won’t feel so bad
