Why is it that I am greatest
At things which I abhor,
That all my skill and talents
Are instruments of war?
And when I should be happy…
At peace, it feels a chore.
Hopes and dreams are all the things
That somehow leave me bored.
Was I made for killing
From the very start?
How is it I've turned hunting men
Into a work of art?
When this chapter's over,
And I’ve put away the gun,
Is there any forgiveness for all
The damage I have done?
