It’s true that I’m that campfire in those early hours
Everyone is tucked away and in perfect slumber
But I’m hoping the loud cracklings I make are enough to wake for more kindling
In the morning they’ll wake to a coal or two between The pile of ash that once signified the bright torrent that once burned.
I must admit that whether those eyes were brown, green, or blue, they all burned so beautifully the same in their own special way with me.
Reigniting:
The love I need to have for myself
Seeing the beautify in the small acts
Diving further into vibrant hues of nature itself
Different but all enriching in a similar way
That’s the warmth I chase
The warmth I crave

What’s happening at VetRep…
Listen to our interview this week with Scott Cottrell on the Savage Wonder Podcast.
VetRep is thrilled to present “God of Carnage” by Yazmina Reza for the month of September. A playground altercation between eleven-year-old boys brings together two sets of Brooklyn parents for a meeting to resolve the matter. At first, diplomatic niceties are observed, but as the meeting progresses, and the rum flows, tensions emerge and the gloves come off, leaving the couples with more than just their liberal principles in tatters.
