It’s been 29 days since I’ve seen land swaying in a giant metal killing machine, packed to the brim with hate and uncertainty. Surrounded by these degenerates, these “kids” that swore an oath and instantly dropped their hoodlum status and were thrust into a category of honor and sacrifice. Carrying the burdens of violence,But still longing for their mothers cooking. Knowing tactical combat casualty care almost as well as they know their high school fight song. Mastering their weapon system but have yet to master how to file taxes. These individuals sacrificed normality, in order to have a sense of belonging and a pridefulness that can never be taken away. They are the few, they are the willing. Losing individuality, only relating to one another… we are the few, we are the willing.
