"It could have happened as you hoped but it happened the way it did…and that’s ok"
By Chris Madsen
Do you ever get caught up the thought of timing?
What if it were two years earlier?
Moments later?
What if you hadn’t taken that turn?
What if you never met them?
Can you imagine a scenario where timing shifted just
slightly how different your life could be?
Would you marry that person?
Would you catch a friend before they made a fatal decision?
Could’ve you saved them?
It’s a thought that can run wildly through your mind.
It’s also a reminder to appreciate each and every
moment because we can’t control time.
Impermanence.
We can’t change the timing of the interactions we have.
There’s a complicated beauty in that.
You can have regrets.
”Maybe if I had more time…”
You didn’t. And this is the outcome.
Here you are. Here I am.
It’s timely.
and it’s horribly,
awfully perfect
just the way it is.
