"The foot measures not the path, but the self."
Softness deceives, lulling the soul
into slumber. In cushioned
comfort, suffering takes root, a
silent thief nourished by ease.
Though wealth, time, and energy
are lavished upon it,
the foot remains bound.
The path, a jagged edge, demands
the foot's true nature. It is in this
friction, in this resistance, that
peace is forged.
