Be my easy truth, my point of
gravitational navigation
in my free-floating struggle of strain.
Be a stealth magnet to my ferrous core,
make me thy escape, thy fire-worked reality.
Be not my God, my titanic deity,
but my tender altar;
Upon thee I lay my spirit,
my self,
my sacrifice…
Cry to me as I to thee
in essence intertwined and become one.
Cokie has spent well over a decade behind a sniper rifle in service to the U.S. Marine Corps, various private military companies, and the almighty dollar. He has also spent time as a combat medic and a seminary student and now places his identity as a man who serves Christ and loves his wife and children.

Only two more chances to catch Oscar Wilde’s, The Importance of Being Earnest! If you’re not convinced yet, check out Broadway World’s article to learn more. Here’s a peek…
“Eric Tucker will direct Savage Wonder Art Center's upcoming "unhinged and wildly staged" reading of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest with a three-person cast. Reimagined through the anarchic lens of Savage Wonder's signature style, the production will take place in Savage Wonder's Parlor inside the newly opened Savage Wonderground, a subterranean art space located beneath Beacon's Main Street, offering audiences an evening of professional theater that's immersive, irreverent, and joyfully chaotic.”
