Giving Tuesday is here!

It’s here! Happy Giving Tuesday. If you’re looking for a way to make an impact in Veteran artists’ lives we’d love for you to join us. Last week we told you about all the various programs and initiatives we worked on during our first year. Now we want to give you a sneak peek into what our 2nd year could look like with your help.

We want to workshop 7 of the 14 veteran-written plays currently in various stages of development, award another $25,000 in grants to veteran playwrights, and feature a series of 10-minute plays written by our veteran playwrights from the past two competitions for the 2023 season at the Parlor. We also want to continue to showcase veteran artists through the Savage WonderGround micro-festivals (maybe in a town near you!), the weekly Savage Wonder podcast, and daily literary blog.

By the numbers:

• The Savage Wonder Podcast costs around $250 per episode to produce

• The average cost of a workshop is $1500

• A run of four performances at The Parlor can cost between $2500 - $4000.

• Each Savage WonderGround micro-festival costs $3500
