As the murky residues of my past slowly burn away,
the monotonous drone of white noise provides me with solace during the silent nights.
Yet even in this peaceful existence, memories of a distant life still linger and billow in my dreams.
The vivid recollections of what once was transported me to another era and another world, filling my mind with the sights, sounds, and sensations of a life that now exists only in my mind.
