Used to have everything I needed
Just no one to share it with
So, being the lonely fool that I was
I decided to let you in
But having you required me
To sacrifice all the things I had
And while I knew the truth of it
It looked different to all looking in
They believed because of you
I had finally been saved
Not knowing it was because of you
There was nothing left to my name
Now here I am
Still a lonely fool
Without the things I need
Simply for loving you
