Come to Church with me,
and we’ll ask God why
the young men die,
why they make
brothers, mothers
and lovers cry,
We’ll raise a middle finger to the sky.

Come to church with me
we’ll leave blood on the altar
fighting for our souls.
We’ll pray to God
to make us channels of His peace
by turning us into
Weapons of War.

Come to Church with me
and we’ll ask St. Michael what to do
when there are no more devils
to kill.
We’ll ask him
how to put the sword down 
and if the are any songs on the harp
that won’t make us weep.

Come to Church with me
and we’ll beg God for forgiveness,
not for what we did,
but for how much we enjoyed doing it.
