I don’t like many bars,
But the bars I love are the real bars.
The bars with the jukebox,
The bars with the 1st class system
With the 3rd grade teacher talking about the
terrible kids.
A drinking hole that has the back porch
fading into the marsh.
A real bar is the cursing, drinking, dirty
glass, fading light,
Blue collar man in a white-collar bottle.
