As a child I was taught that
Jesus died for my sins,
So,
I gave him sins to die for.

As a child I was taught to
be like Jesus,
So,
I found something I was willing to die for.

As a child I was taught
suicide is the only unforgivable sin,
So,
I keep coming up with reasons to live

even when I don’t want to.

It’s easy to die for something,
and harder to live for it.
