Can I ask
To trace all the lines
All the shades on your skin?
I want to know who you were
Each and every time you added that ink
Who was that girl in that moment
Because at the end of the day
It’s all led to now
All to today
You
In that moment
Led to that permanent mark
And I can’t help but crave to know how that was
Because it’s all so beautiful
All so real and raw
Please just afford me
This one time
This one opportunity to know you all the more
