When I was a boy, it was the salt air
As a man, it was the breeze and the waves.
Maturity brings respect or the sea
Wonderment for its mysteries
Enchantment of its travels.
the very same I felt as a boy.
I am an old soul with the sea
Mesmerized by her beauty,
I realize she is the woman for me
I was not born with her
But I will die with her.
Engulfed by the surf,
Swept out with the tide.
Picture perfect black and white,
With a board by my side.
