These things we carry deep inside
Buried beneath vacant stares of pride
Things we would do all over again
Simply to ever just remember when
To smell the sweat and hear the laughter
Of the lost loves we used to look after
The moments we shared that brought us together
Now only a memory of what will be never
These heavy things we carry inside
One day no longer will they hide
