"Beneath the Shadows"

In the realm
Where shadow dance,
I’ve waged internal battles,
A lifetime spent,
Living the warrior’s way,
Shadowboxing with death,
Day after day,
Fear and courage,
I’ve learned to embrace,
Each step a decision,
A battle to be won,
Facing danger head-on,
Till the last setting sun,
Witness to strife,
The rawness of pain,
Searching for peace,
Amidst the endless strain,
A warrior armed,
With compassion in tow,
To mend the shattered,
Where hope tend to flow.
The battlefield I tread,
A paradoxical plane,
For death lingers close,
Whispering its refrain,
Through countless encounters,
Both calm and intense,
I faced the unknown,
In every defense,
In the shadows’ realm,
where life can be frail,
Shadowboxing with death,
With a heart that won’t fail,
To protect and serve,
With an unwavering mind.
Through Fire and smoke,
I sought to reclaim,
Humanity’s essence,
For the war I waged
For my soul’s discipline,
A protector, a guarding, a warrior,
With every single breath,
In this eternal struggle,
where darkness may loom,
I’ll fight till my days meet their tomb
