The walls buckle at the assault of giants
Our strength is weakened by fear
The holes in our defenses are exploited
The path of hatred is made clear
We run from our vicious attackers
But we soon realize we're walled in
The giants storm our fortress
And our numbers are spread thin
Courage only gives us proud deaths
And fighting is a hopeless act
We are sheep led to the slaughter
Against us the odds are stacked
But was it always like this?
Does it have to stay this way?
How did we live locked up?
Were we even alive day to day?
The walls that kept enemies out
Became an inescapable tomb
There is no freedom in fear
And our security became our doom
Tear down the walls of your fortress
Before the giants come to the gate
Seek out the sky and the horizon
Don't just sit around and wait
We are nomads, we are travelers
Our spirits are meant to fly
Do not dig yourself in
Every day you're not living, you die
